Set up the Drill: Divide the youth players into groups of two and have them line up facing each other about ten yards apart (can change distance based on the age of the players). Each pair will have one football for this drill.
The Drill: The player with the football will throw the ball in the air or directly to the player without the ball and yell catch or release. If “catch” is yelled then the receiver will catch the ball but if release is yelled, the player will bat the ball to the ground. This drill is designed to work on catching, reaction time, and batting the ball down when playing defense.

Players should be divided into pairs, with the front player being the runner and the back player being the defensive back. If possible, each runner should carry a football. Defensive backs will start five yards behind the runner. When the whistle blows, the runners will attempt to reach the end zone before the defenders catch them and grab their flag.
Very helpful, we bought the 7 on 7 advanced plays everything we needed was there.
This is my first year coaching my flag football team. The drills are really helpful in teaching the youth all the skills. This one really keeps them on their toes
